This photoshoot involved positioning a person in front of a coloured television to examine the contrasting effects of the surrounding colours on their silhouette. I projected blue on to the TV for a cold lighting and orange for warm lighting.

I noticed the lighting and the silhouette appeared darker when set against a warmer background, such as orange and thereby can sometimes change the size of the persons silhouette. Experimenting with light was inspired by my fascination with James Turrell's exhibitions, in which he examines lighting and space by combining colour palettes with shapes and the materiality of light.
